Hotspot – Froggin’ on the French

Wigwam Bay – N46° 13.360′   W79° 57.699′

Today’s Hotspot is tucked away at the back of a long shallow finger at the top of the French River called Wigwam Bay. The waypoint on your screen will take you right there.

However, I’d highly recommend using the services of a Chaudiere Lodge guide. This bay is really off the beaten path. Be very careful going in as it’s extremely shallow weed choke entrance is like a mine field of wood and rock. But once you get past that, it turns into a Largemouth Bass anglers paradise. Arm yourself with a boatload of topwater weedless baits and a trunk full of patience—you’ll need it.
