Hotspot – Dammed If You Do

BOUNDARY DAM RESERVOIR – N49° 05.665’ W103° 01.449’

Today’s Hotspot is right near the Pumphouse on Boundary Dam Reservoir in Southern Saskatchewan. The waypoint on your screen will get you there.

Remember to always fish areas like pumphouses with extreme caution since unexpected currents and water conditions could pop up.

Keith and I drop-shotted four and five-inch Yamamoto Senkos in dark colours in order to entice the somewhat pressured Largemouth in this section of the lake. A 3/8 ounce weight got us down quickly and efficiently in the deep sections, while a 1/8 was good for the shallows. Work all three water-exposed sides of the concrete structure as there could be fish on each.
